Pisco Sour
Ingredients
- 2 oz (60 ml) pisco
- 1 oz (30 ml) lime juice
- 4 tsp (20 ml) cane syrup
- 2 tsp (10 ml) egg white (see note)
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) ice cubes
- 3 drops Angostura-type bitters
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, vigorously mix the pisco, lime juice, cane syrup, egg white and ice cubes for 1 minute.
- Strain through a sieve over a very cold lowball whiskey. Add the drops of bitters. Use a toothpick to trace small hearts in the foam, if desired.
