Tropical Fruit Salad with Vanilla Syrup

In a bowl, combine all the fruit.

In a saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

The syrup will have thickened slightly. Remove from the heat and add the vanilla. Allow to cool before pouring into a small jug or bowl. Serve the fruit salad in pretty bowls and let each person add vanilla syrup, to taste.

You can also add the fruit of your choice. Enjoy the winter season, the season of tropical fruit, to discover new ones.
