Ingredients

The crumb of 2 slices white bread, diced  
1/4 cup (60 ml) plain yogurt
2 tablespoons (30 ml) chicken broth or water
1 lb (454 g) lean ground beef
The meat 1 sweet or spicy Italian sausage
1/2 cup (125 ml) grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
1 egg  
2 teaspoons (10 ml) Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground fennel seeds
1 teaspoon (5 ml) dried oregano
Salt and pepper
1 large onion, finely chopped
3 tablespoons (45 ml) olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup (125 ml) white wine
1 can 28 oz (798 ml) crushed tomatoes with or without pieces
1 cup (250 ml) chicken broth
2 tablespoons (30 ml) Worcestershire sauce
