In a small pot, bring all of the ingredients to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool.

In a personal blender fitted with the grinding blade, purée the mixture until smooth. Transfer to a small bowl and let cool completely. The sauce will keep for 1 week in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
