Sweet and Salty Snack Mix

- 1 oz (28 g) white chocolate, chopped
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) peanut butter
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) wheat cereal squares (like Shreddies ©)
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) mixed nuts (pecans, almonds, peanuts ...)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) pretzel sticks (about 15 to 20 sticks)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) mixed dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, cherries ...)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) icing sugar
- 2 new brown paper lunch bags, inserted one into the other

- In a small bowl, melt the chocolate with the peanut butter in the microwave oven for about 30 seconds. Stir to combine. Let cool for 5 minutes.
- In the lunch bag or airtight container, combine the cereals, nuts, pretzels and dried fruit. Pour the chocolate mixture in a stream over the snack mix. Sprinkle the icing sugar over the chocolate. Close the bag or container and shake vigorously for about 2 minutes. Let the chocolate set for 30 minutes at room temperature or in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
