    With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

    In a bowl, combine the flour and salt.

    In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Add the egg yolks one at a time and mix until smooth. Using a wooden spoon, stir in the dry ingredients. The mixture will be grainy. With your fingertips, press the dough into a 9-inch (23 cm) tart pan with removable bottom.

    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden. Let cool on a wire rack.
