Quick Barbecue Sauce

- 3/4 cup (180 ml) ketchup
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) prepared mustard
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) apple jelly
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder

- In a small pot, combine all of the ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring with a whisk. Add pepper to taste. Let simmer for 5 minutes. The quick barbecue sauce will keep for 10 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
