Pressure Cooker Applesauce
Make this easy applesauce recipe in your RICARDO electric pressure cooker or Instant Pot.

In the pressure cooker, combine the apples and water. Cover and select the Programmable function on High (high pressurization). Set the machine to cook for 5 minutes.

Release the pressure manually, and remove the lid.

In a blender, purée until smooth half of the apples at a time with half of the sugar, if using. The applesauce will keep for 3 weeks in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
