  • 3/4 lb (375 g) gemelli
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • 1 lb (454 g) ground pork
  • 2 cups (500 ml) frozen corn kernels
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 cups (500 ml) grated cheddar cheese
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper

Инструкция

  1. In a pot of lightly salted boiling water, cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and oil lightly. Keep 125 ml (½ cup) of the cooking water aside.
  2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, soften the onion in the oil. Add the meat and cook, while crumbling, until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper. Add the corn and garlic and cook for about 2 minutes.
  3. Add the pasta, cheese, green onions, and the reserved cooking water. Toss to coat the pasta and warm through. Adjust the seasoning.
