Ingredients

1 untreated maple or cedar plank approximately 6 x 15-inch (15 x 38-cm)
1 1/2 lb (675 g) skinless salmon fillet
1/3 cup (75 ml) olive oil
Juice of 1 lime or 1/2 lemon
2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey
1/2 cup (125 ml) chopped fresh herbs (chives, flat-leaf parsley, cilantro, etc.)
Salt and pepper
6 tablespoons (90 ml) soy sauce
1/4 cup (60 ml) mirin
1/4 cup (15 ml) mirin
1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon juice
1 tablespoon (15 ml) brown sugar
1 teaspoon (5 ml) toasted sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 green onion, sliced
