  • ½ cup (125 ml) water
  • ½ cup (105 g) sugar
  • ¼ cup (10 g) fresh mint leaves
  • 1 ½ oz (45 ml) bourbon
  • 1 sprig fresh mint
  • Crushed ice
  • Icing sugar (optional)

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the water, sugar and mint to a boil. Remove from the heat. Let cool completely.
  2. Filter the mint syrup. Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
