    In a saucepan over medium-high heat, heat the spices until they start becoming fragrant. Add the water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

    Add the milk, tea and sugar. Bring once more to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes, or a little more for a thicker beverage. Strain through a sieve placed over a large cup with a spout or a teapot. Compost the aromatics. Pour into cups.
