    With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 75 °C (170 °F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    With a mandolin, cut about two Cortland apples into thin slices.

    Place the apple slices, side by side, on the baking sheet. Bake for about 4 hours, turning the apple slices frequently.
