Ингредиенты

  • 2 cups (500 ml) water
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) soy sauce
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) maple syrup
  • 3/4 lb (375 g) baby bok choy (or medium bok choy, quartered lengthwise)
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) cold butter
  • Salt and pepper

Инструкция

  1. In a skillet or large saucepan, bring the water, maple syrup and soy sauce to a boil. Add the chicken and simmer gently for about 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Transfer the chicken to a plate. Cover with aluminum foil and let rest while you prepare the bok choy. Discard the poaching liquid.
