Japanese Glazing Sauce for Pork Skewers

    In a saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil. Simmer for about 8 minutes or until sauce is very syrupy.

    Remove garlic and ginger. You should be left with about 125 ml (½ cup) of sauce. Let cool. Keep in the refrigerator, if needed.
