    In a large glass dish or plastic container, whisk together the wine and sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Cover and freeze for 8 hours or until completely frozen.

    In a blender, purée the strawberries, water and lemon juice until smooth. Add the frozen wine and process until smooth and slushy. Serve immediately in wine or martini glasses.
