Ингредиенты

  • 4 ripe but firm pears, peeled, cored and diced
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) dried white figs, diced
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) slivered almonds
  • 1 to 2,1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon (5 ml) crushed black peppercorns

Инструкция

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until the pears are translucent and the cooking juices is syrupy. Let cool.
  2. Serve at room temperature with soft cheeses (triple cream brie, for example).
