Ингредиенты

  • 1/3 cup (75 ml) butter
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) all-purpose flour
  • 5 cups (1.25 litres) chicken broth
  • 2 cups (500 ml) mashed sweet peas
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) whole-grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup (250 ml) walnuts or pecans
  • 8 slices baguette, cut diagonally
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) grated Comté cheese

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add the flour and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture turns a light golden brown color. Whisk in the broth and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Simmer gently over low heat for about 8 minutes. Add the mashed peas and stir to combine. Add broth, if needed. Season with salt and pepper.
