1 package 250 g cream cheese, at room temperature
2 teaspoons (10 ml) vanilla extract
1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
3/4 cup (180 ml) 35% cream, whipped
1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
2 tablespoons (30 ml) unsalted butter
5 cups (1.25 litres) Cortland apples, peeled, cored and cut into 10 segments (about 4 apples)
1/4 cup (60 ml) Calijo or Calvados
