Caramel Fruit Dip

- 1 cup (250 ml) brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) 35% cream
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) unsalted or salted butter
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract

- In a saucepan, bring all the ingredients, except the vanilla, to a boil while stirring. Simmer for about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Transfer to a bowl and let cool completely.
- Serve as a dip with fruits (strawberries, bananas, apples, pears, kiwi fruit) or fruit skewers.
