- 1/2 cup (125 ml) light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) Scotch
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) butter
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) water
- Wooden Coffee Sticks

- In a heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, scotch, butter, and salt.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the mixture begins to lightly brown. Add the water. Attach a candy thermometer in the centre of the pan and simmer over medium heat until the thermometer reads 118 °C (245 °F). Remove from the heat.
- Pour in a stream over the snow and gather with a wooden stick to eat.
