  • 6 large russet potatoes, scrubbed clean and halved crosswise
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 onion, cut into 1/4-inch (1/2 cm) thick slices
  • Butter, to taste
  • Salt and pepper

  2. Generously season the potatoes with salt and pepper.
  3. Place a folded slice of bacon and a slice of onion between
  4. the two halves of each potato.
  5. Individually wrap each potato in aluminum foil.
  6. Place on the grill, close the lid and cook for about
  7. 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender. Serve with butter.
