Ингредиенты

  • 2 pears, ripe but firm, peeled, halved and seeded
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) maple creamed honey
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) apple cider vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves, halved
  • 2 rosemary sprigs
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) beef broth
  • 4 bone-in pork chops, each about 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) maple creamed honey
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) apple cider vinegar

Инструкция

  1. In a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, brown the pears in the butter on each side. Add the honey, vinegar, garlic and rosemary. Continue to cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until the pears are tender and nicely caramelized. Set aside on a plate.
  2. Add the broth to the skillet and simmer for 1 minute. Remove and compost the garlic and rosemary. Set the broth aside in a bowl.
