Turkey Cutlets Alla Milanesa
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 1 can 14 oz (398 ml) diced tomatoes
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup (250 ml) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) breadcrumbs
- 4 large turkey cutlets
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) butter
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) canola oil
- 4 slices ham
- 1 cup (250 ml) grated cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, soften garlic in oil. Season with salt and pepper. Add tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes or until sauce has thickened. Set aside.
