Turkey and Pear Open-Faced Sandwich
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup (75 ml) sour cream
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 4 slices country bread
- 12 thin slices cold turkey
- 1 ripe pear, sliced
- 4 slices raclette cheese
Instructions
- With the rack in the highest position, preheat the oven to broil.
- In a bowl, combine the sour cream and green onions. Set aside.
- Spread the butter on the bread slices and place on a baking sheet. Broil for about 2 minutes or until they begin to brown. Turn the slices over. Spread with the sour cream mixture. Add the turkey and pear slices and cover with cheese. Bake for about 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
- Serve with a green salad.
