Herb Salad
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) olive oil
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) whole-grain mustard
- Salt and pepper
- 5 cups (1.25 litres) mixed green lettuce
- 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) leaves of different basil varieties (Thai, Greek, purple, common)
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) flat leaf parsley leaves
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh chives, cut into 1/2-inch (1-cm) pieces
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients with a whisk. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
