Parmesan Pita Chips
Ingredients
- 6 plain or whole-wheat pita bread, each cut into 8 wedges
- 1/3 cup (75 ml) olive oil
- 1 cup (250 ml) finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
- Pepper
Instructions
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, drizzle the pita bread with the oil and toss. Sprinkle with the cheese and pepper. Toss to coat.
- Spread the pita bread, side-by-side, on the baking sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the chips are golden brown, turning once while baking. Cool completely.
