Jeff Dinelle’s Ribs
Ingredients
- 8 cups (2 litres) apple juice
- 1 cup (250 ml) molasses
- 6 lbs (2.27 kg) pork baby back ribs, trimmed (see note)
- Paprika, to taste
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) butter
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup (250 ml) chili sauce
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- Tabasco sauce, to taste
- Cayenne pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, combine the apple juice and molasses and add the ribs. Refrigerate and allow to marinate for 24 to 48 hours.
