Blueberry Lemonade
Blueberry Lemonade
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 ml) fresh blueberries
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) sugar
- 5 cups (1.25 litres) cold water
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) lime juice
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) lemon juice
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring the blueberries, sugar, and 250 ml (1 cup) of water to a boil. Cover and simmer gently for about 5 minutes or until the blueberries burst open. Strain and discard the blueberries. Refrigerate for about 1 hour.
- In a pitcher, combine the blueberry syrup with the remaining of the water and the citrus juice. Serve with lots of ice.
