Ingredients

  • 10 medium apples (Cortland, McIntosh, etc.), stems removed
  • 10 Popsicle sticks
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) water
  • 2 1/2 cups (625 ml) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) red food colouring

Instructions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Rinse the apples well and pat dry. Insert a stick into each apple. Set aside.
