Ингредиенты

  • ¾ cup (180 ml) mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) sour cream (see note)
  • 2 tbsp sour gherkins, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp capers, drained and chopped
  • 1 tbsp shallots, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) gherkin juice
  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml) prepared horseradish
  • Cayenne pepper, to taste

Инструкция

  1. In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. The tartar sauce will keep in an airtight container for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.

This tartar sauce goes great with crab cakes, in a fish sandwich, or alongside fish and chips!
