Leeks in White Wine
Ingredients
- 8 cups (760 g) leeks, white part only, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) white wine
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, soften the leeks in the butter and oil. Season with salt and pepper. Deglaze with the wine and reduce until dry. Let cool before adding to the recipe of your choice.
