Chicken Burgers with Coleslaw
Ingredients
- 4 cups (400 g) green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- ¼ cup (60 ml) sour cream
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup (125 g) bread crumbs
- 2 slices bread, crust removed
- ¼ cup (60 ml) milk
- 1 lb (454 g) ground chicken
- 2 tbsp (28 g) butter, softened
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- 4 kaiser rolls (or buns)
Instructions
- Place the cabbage in a bowl. Set aside.
- In a small saucepan or in the microwave oven, bring
- the vinegar and sugar to a boil. Pour over the cabbage, add the sour cream and mix well to combine. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate while preparing the burgers.
