Blueberry Almond Tart
Ingredients
- 1 pie crust (see recipe)
- 1/3 cup (75 ml) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) ground almonds
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) maple syrup
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) flour
- 1 cup (250 ml) blueberries
Instructions
- With the rack in the lowest position, preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
- In a bowl, combine all of the filling ingredients, except for the blueberries.
- Roll out the pastry and line a 20-cm (8-inch) pie plate with a removable bottom. Spread the filling into the crust. Scatter the blueberries over the filling.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until the pie is golden brown. Let cool before serving.
