Air Fryer Flap Steaks with Brussels Sprouts

The air fryer is your friend at mealtimes because it makes your life easier by cooking food quickly, with very little oil. We love using it in this surprising recipe for two: first, the flap steak, then the pancetta-roasted Brussels sprouts. Save time and dishwashing!

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp (10 ml) vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 garlic clove, finely grated
  • 2 RICARDO Flap Steaks with Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 12 Brussels sprouts, quartered
  • 1 small onion, cut into thin wedges
  • 2 oz (55 g) pancetta, diced
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 dates, pitted and diced (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the oil, garam masala and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Add the meat to the bowl and toss to coat well.
  2. Place the steaks in the basket of an air fryer, spacing them out. Cook for 10 minutes at 400°F (200°C). Place the steaks on a plate and let rest for 10 minutes.
