Ингредиенты

  • ½ cup (125 ml) water
  • ½ cup (105 g) sugar
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) pumpkin purée, homemade or store-bought
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger, chopped
  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml) vanilla or ¼ vanilla bean, split lengthwise and seeds scraped
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cinnamon stick, 4 inches (10 cm) long
  • 3 oz (90 ml) milk or non-dairy beverage
  • 1 oz (30 ml) pumpkin spice syrup
  • 2 oz (60 ml) espresso coffee

  1. In a small pot over medium heat, bring all of the ingredients to a boil. Remove from the heat and let cool for 30 minutes.
  2. Strain the syrup through a sieve placed over an airtight container and let the syrup drain naturally without squeezing it. Compost the aromatics. Cover and refrigerate. The syrup will keep for 2 weeks in the refrigerator (see note).
