Ground Beef-Stuffed Dinner Rolls
Ingredients
- 2 lb (900 g) medium-lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- ¼ cup (60 ml) ketchup
- ¼ cup (60 ml) prepared yellow mustard
- 1 can (10 oz/284 ml) condensed chicken gumbo soup (Campbell’s-style)
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 24 dinner rolls
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine all of the ingredients except for the dinner rolls. Bring to a boil. Simmer over medium-low heat for 30 minutes or until the liquid has completely evaporated, stirring a few times. Season with salt and pepper.
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Make an incision in the top of each bun without going all the way through to the bottom. Fill with the meat mixture. Place the filled buns on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until the bread is hot and crispy. Cover with foil if needed.
