Fresh Herb and Garlic Salt
Ingredients
- ¾ cup (180 g) coarse kosher salt
- 3 tbsp dill flowers or fronds
- 2 tbsp tarragon leaves
- 2 tbsp flat-leaf parsley leaves
- 1 tbsp mint leaves
- 5 rosemary leaves
- 1 small garlic clove, quartered
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- In a small food processor, pulse all of the ingredients a few seconds at a time until the mixture has a sandy texture or like that of fine salt.
- Delicious on fresh vegetables, hard-boiled eggs, fish, fries, grilled meats or bread. The salt will keep for 3 weeks in an airtight container at room temperature.
