Orange and Harissa Salt

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (145 g) fine salt
  • 2 oranges, zest finely grated
  • 1 tsp ground harissa spice blend

Instructions

  1. With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 175°F (80°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On the baking sheet, combine the salt, orange zest and harissa.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes or until the salt and zest have dried out.
  4. Let cool completely. The salt will keep for 2 months in an airtight container at room temperature.
