Peach Crumble (Crumble di pesche)
Ingredients
- 4 ½ lb (2 kg) peaches, peeled, pitted and cut into pieces
- 1 lemon, the juice only
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 ½ cups (225 g) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (210 g) sugar
- ¾ cup (170 g) unsalted butter, softened
- Icing sugar, to taste
- Whipped cream, to taste
Instructions
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine the peaches, lemon juice and sugar. Spoon into a 13 x 9-inch (33 x 23 cm) baking dish. Set aside.
