Peach Crumble (Crumble di pesche)

Ingredients

  • 4 ½ lb (2 kg) peaches, peeled, pitted and cut into pieces
  • 1 lemon, the juice only
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 ½ cups (225 g) unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (210 g) sugar
  • ¾ cup (170 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • Icing sugar, to taste
  • Whipped cream, to taste

Instructions

  1. With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the peaches, lemon juice and sugar. Spoon into a 13 x 9-inch (33 x 23 cm) baking dish. Set aside.
