Grilled Curried Quail
Ingredients
- 6 quail
- 1 cup (250 ml) plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) grated fresh ginger
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 small oignon, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) curry powder
- 2,1/2 teaspoon (5 ml) turmeric
- 2,1/2 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
- 6 wood skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- Set the quail on a cutting board and, using a chef’s knife or poultry shears, cut out their backbones. Open the birds flat. Set aside.
