Salad with Blue Cheese Toast
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) honey
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) olive oil
- 1/2 clove garlic, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 lb (115 g) blue cheese, sliced
- 4 slices baguette bread, 1-inch (2.5-cm) thick and cut on the diagonal
- 4 cups (1 litre) mixed lettuce leaves
- 1 pear, cored and thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together all the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- With the rack in the highest position, preheat the broiler.
