    Place the cast iron pan in the pizza oven. Preheat the pizza oven on high (MAX) with the door closed for 20 minutes.

    Meanwhile, on a large plate, coat the meat with the oil. Season generously with salt and pepper.

    Place the meat on the hot cast iron pan. Watch out for splattering. Bake with the door closed for 4 minutes, turning the steaks over halfway through, for rare or until the desired doneness is reached.

    Let the steaks rest on another plate for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with green salad or mashed potatoes, if desired.
