  • 1 1/2 teaspoons (7.5 ml) poppy seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) ground coriander

  • 2 6-inch (15-cm) whole wheat pita bread
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
  2. Separate the two layers of the pitas by cutting around the edges with scissors.
  3. In a bowl, blend the spices. Brush the pita with the oil and sprinkle with the spice mixture. Place on a baking sheet. Bake for about 7 minutes or until crisp.
  4. Serve with Lentil Soup.
