In a small pot over medium heat, cook the curry paste in the oil for 1 minute while stirring. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil while whisking until the mixture is smooth, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool. The satay sauce will keep for 5 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
