Hot Chicken Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) chicken broth or water
- 1/2 cup (75 g) frozen peas
- 2 cups (340 g) cooked chicken, diced and warmed
- 1 recipe Brown Gravy, hot
- 8 dinner rolls cut in half horizontally or 8 slices white bread
Instructions
- In a small pot, bring the broth to a boil. Add the peas and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes or until tender. Drain.
- Cover the bottoms of the dinner rolls with the chicken and drizzle with some of the gravy. Cover with the tops of the rolls and drizzle with the remaining gravy. Serve with the peas.
