Manhattan Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) red vermouth
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) maraschino cherry syrup
  • 2 drops Angostura (optional)
  • 5 to 6 ice cubes
  • 1 maraschino cherry, with the stem 

  • 1 long orange zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a shaker, combine all the ingredients except for the cherry and orange zest. Strain and pour into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with the cherry and orange zest.
