Mashed Potatoes and Sweet Potatoes
Ingredients
- 3 cups (750 ml) potatoes peeled and cubed (about 5 medium potatoes)
- 3 cups (750 ml) sweet potatoes peeled and cubed (about 2 medium sweet potatoes)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) butter
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) sour cream
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, cook the potatoes and sweet potatoes in salted boiling water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain.
- With a masher, mash with the butter. Then, with an electric mixer, purée the mixture with the sour cream. Adjust the seasoning.
