Ginger and Honey Iced Tea
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) green tea leaves
- 4 cups (1 litre) cold water
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
- 8 thin slices fresh ginger, peeled
- Ice
Instructions
- Place the tea in a large tea ball. Set aside.
- In a saucepan or kettle, bring half the water to a boil. Pour into a pitcher. Add the tea, honey and ginger. Stir. Let steep for about 5 minutes, to your taste. Remove the tea ball. Add the remaining cold water. Pour into a pitcher and refrigerate for about 2 hours. Serve with ice.
