Simplified Vietnamese Coffee

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 ml) ice cubes, about
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup (20 g) coffee beans, finely ground
  • 2/3 cup (150 ml) hot water

Instructions

  1. In a tall glass filled with ice cubes, slowly pour the condensed milk down the side of the glass.
  2. Place the ground coffee in the filter and set over the glass. Pour the hot water over the coffee and let drip onto the ice, about 5 minutes. Once the hot water has run through the filter, remove the filter and compost the coffee grounds.
  3. Stir the coffee well. Serve with a reusable straw, if desired.
